Another important factor is having the proper testing equipment to make sure you are buying real gold. I have seen many people make the mistake of buying gold they thought was real only to realize it wasn't. This is a subject that actually needs a more in-depth explanation. The next part of your strategy is to determine how much you will receive for your gold. Since gold is a commodity traded on the New York Stock Exchange, this information is readily available. You will need to know how much to pay for your gold in order to make a profit. Here are some thoughts you will need to build your strategy prior to engaging in this endeavor. You will need to know how much pawnshops are paying people for their gold because this is the market you will be going after. People have numerous ways they can dispose of gold, but the main ingredient for them to sell it to you is that you will provide fast cash in desperate times at competitive prices. Pawnshops, coin dealers and gold buyers all provide this very important feature many people need to liquidate their gold fast. You will also have to be mobile. This will give you an advantage over the competition because many of them will not offer consumers this feature. I will also need to write an entire article on how to interpret whether a person is worth your time to deal before using resources that may lead to a dead end.
In closing, I have only touched on basic information that will lead you down the road to profits. Each part of your strategy must be well developed. You will need to learn as much as you can about gold and how to sell it fast once you buy it. You could also use this strategy to buy it cheap and hold it if you think the price will continue to rise. Whatever you choose to do, it should be well thought out.

I have long since gotten out of buying and selling gold and have been doing internet marketing successfully full time for over 3 years now.
Also, I do not respond to comments so please don't post your email address here asking for me to contact you.
What I found early on is that most of the people posting their email addresses here were soliciting.
Not saying that everyone here is soliciting, but I have been contacted numerous times and I just want everyone who reads this article to beware of these online scammers. They scrape email addresses from sites like this and spam the heck out of you with all kinds of stuff.
My best advice is to find a local pawnbroker in your area and ask them for some advice.
I'd be willing to bet that some of them would be willing to supply some sort of consultation for a fee. At least that is what I did when I was in the business.
But mostly, I want to thank all of you who had positive comments about the article and I hope it helps you get started in the right direction.
